Welcome to Independent Kids and Adults

I started IKAA with the intention of building a service that supports people in reaching their goals, with an ethos of no limits.  At IKAA, we work with children, teens, adults, and families across Southern Tasmania. Our multidisciplinary team brings together occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, behaviour support practitioners, counsellors, and therapy assistants. What connects us is a shared belief: that there are no limits to what I can do, be, or achieve
We use evidence-based interventions to support people in ways that make sense for them. Our work is practical, respectful, and always tailored to the individual.
Just as we support our clients in reaching their goals, we support our staff in growing. We’ve built supervision frameworks that prioritise psychological safety, reflective practice, and professional development because when practitioners feel supported, everyone benefits.
Thanks for visiting. Whether you’re here for support, collaboration, or curiosity, I’m glad you found us.
